It selects, evaluates and supports the President & CEO. The board also protects the organization's assets, enhances its public standing, ensures accountability, maintains legal integrity and assesses its own performance. In addition, there are board committees organized around specific areas of the organization's operations.
The Regional Councils are made up of members who support the regions throughout our chapter territory. These regions include: Sacramento, Central California, and Northern Nevada and Lake Tahoe. The council members act as Make-A-Wish ambassadors in their respective regions, connecting their communities to advance the mission.
