Lauren is officially ready to take off on her wish trip to Paris thanks to her send off party at Daniel's Jewelers. Through our partnership with Jewelers For Children, Lauren's wish is being granted.
Lauren was diagnosed with lymphoma in 2016. Her first treatment involved a bone marrow biopsy, an implantation of a chest tube and a five-day stay in the intensive care unit. Despite all that she is going through, Lauren manages to stay strong and actively involved in her community and enjoys volunteering.
When Lauren had the chance to choose a wish to be granted, she considered wishing to be a fashion buyer, to have a shopping spree or to meet her favorite singer. Ultimately, Lauren decided that the wish that would bring her the most joy would be to visit Paris. Lauren has never been out of the country, and longs to see the different fashion in Paris.
Recently Jewelers for Children surprised her with a Paris-themed send off party at Daniel's Jewelers in Modesto. She was gifted a beautiful necklace and earrings for her to bring with her to Paris and they noshed on some of her favorite foods - chocolate cake, of course.
Jewelers for Children has renewed its commitment to Make-A-Wish by donating $575,000 to grant 62 wishes across the country. These wish experiences that they are creating have the potential to serve as a turning point in these children's lives. For Lauren, this is more than just a trip to Paris. It will leave a lasting impression on her and her family.
