SACRAMENTO, CA (January 2017) Make-A-Wish® Northeastern California and Northern Nevada welcomes Jeff Savage, President of the Sacramento River Cats, to the organization’s Board of Directors. As a leader in the Sacramento community, Savage brings years of management expertise to the team.
As President of the River Cats, Savage oversees the operations of the baseball team and Raley Field. The River Cats, Triple-A affiliate of the San Francisco Giants, have called the Sacramento Region their home since 2000 and have consistently set the bar as one of the most successful minor league franchises in the country.

Savage has served as the Board Chair on the West Sacramento Chamber of Commerce. He is currently a member of the Advisory Committee of the UC Davis MIND (Medical Investigation of Neurodevelopmental Disorders) Institute, a collaborative international research center committed to the awareness, understanding, prevention, care, and cures of neurodevelopmental disorders. Additionally, he serves as President of the River Cats Foundation, created to serve and benefit children and families in need in the Sacramento area.
