15th Annual KNCI Radiothon

Date

November 15, 2013

SACRAMENTO, CA. (November, 2013) The 15th Annual KNCI Radiothon, benefiting Make-A-Wish, will be held on Friday, December 6 and Saturday December, 7 at the Westfield Galleria in Roseville.

You can join popular KNCI on- air morning radio personalities, Pat and Tom (who will be at the Galleria on both mornings), Make-A-Wish children and Make-A-Wish volunteers for two full days of live broadcasting with all proceeds going to Make-A-Wish. Listeners will be able to hear inspiring stories from the wish children about their wish choice and its immediate impact upon their lives.  In addition, there will be an extensive auction for those at the mall, featuring several celebrity signed items perfect for helping shoppers looking to complete their holiday gift lists.

The Wish Ambassador, and local Wish Child, is 18-year-old Katie who has Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. Her once in a lifetime wish was to go to the Country Music Awards Festival. When Katie and her family went to Nashville for her wish, they received the VIP treatment, not only getting to go to the CMA Festival, but getting to meet some of her favorite country music stars as well. Katie says, "This experience will definitely play in to my heart and soul for the rest of my life."

Help create more memories like the ones that Katie and her family share by rallying your co-workers, friends and neighbors to be a part of this wonderful event. Your pledges enable Make-A-Wish® Northeastern California and Northern Nevada to continue its mission of granting wishes to children with life-threatening medical conditions in our community. Donate your time by listening to the KNCI Radiothon and help make a child's wish come true by tuning in to KNCI 105.1FM or by joining us at Westfield Galleria of Roseville and sharing in the power of a wish®.
